Providence Canyon

Yesterday my boyfriend and I took a short trip to Lumpkin, Georgia to see Providence Canyon. Though we don't have much time in Atlanta, this seemed worth taking time away from exploring the city. It was one of the coolest places I've visited, sort of like a mini grand canyon. I was in complete awe as we hiked around and stumbled upon a bunch of abandoned cars. There were signs that said the cars had become ecosystems for birds and animals, so they left them. Why do abandoned cars make everything cooler? The pictures really don't do this place justice. If you ever find yourself in Georgia, I recommend seeing it for yourself!

Talk About a Come Up

Jacket: thrifted, shirt: target, pants: urban outfitters

Greetings from Atlanta! I hope everyone is having a good holiday. My boyfriend and I drove down to South Carolina on Saturday. We stayed in a national park and were rudely awaken for sleeping in the back of the pickup truck, apparently that's frowned upon. It was 6:30, so we decided that we were going to start the day early. We got a southern-style breakfast and then walked around Congaree National Park. A lot of the park was closed for maintenance and flooding, but we got to see some cool stuff. After, we drove to Atlanta and immediately found a thrift store and barbecue...because priorities. I came across this jacket and was totally in awe  the pattern, the colors, it's the stuff dreams are made of. Shortly after buying it I went into a food coma after eating the best ribs I've ever had from Bone Lick, a David Cross-backed (yes, Tobias ya'll) bbq joint. Though it's 80 degrees down here and a little too warm for the jacket, I plan to never take it off my body.

Be sure to follow me on instagram for more of my Atlanta adventures!

How to Get Your Eyebrows on Fleek

I recently dyed my hair blonde, but maintained my natural eyebrow color. While I love the severe look,  it means I need to make sure my eyebrows are on fleek. Luckily, my friends over at Billion Dollar Brows gave me the tools to hook a girl up. With their Best Sellers Kit, I can get that Cara Delevingne look — perfect for a night on the town. Their 60 Seconds To Beautiful Brows Kit makes it easy to touch  up my brows in the morning before work.

Here's how to use their Best Sellers Kit:
Fill in your eyebrows using the universal brow pencil, flip it around to use the spoolie brush to get every hair in place
Use the brow gel to lock it all in to be able to maintain that look all day
Lastly, define your brow using the brow duo pencil and the smudge brush

The
60 Seconds To Beautiful Brows Kit is as easy as it sounds:
Use the angled brush to fill in your eyebrows with the powder, then smooth out everything with the spoolie brush. It's so fast and easy to do! I've incorporated it into my daily make-up routine.

Admittedly, I didn't know where to start. Luckily, their website is filled with easy tutorials on how to use their products. To check out these videos and more, go to their website: http://www.billiondollarbrows.com

It makes the perfect gift or stocking stuffer for the woman in your life who always like to look good. Three lucky winners will get their own best sellers kit! Enter now for your chance to win:

Scotland

Sorry for the picture overload! I'm gearing up for my next adventure, which for me means looking at photos of past trips! Shortly after I stopped blogging last summer I took a trip to Scotland with my boyfriend and his family. I thought I would share the pictures because it was truly a magical trip. Jimmy's cousin was getting married and though we couldn't go to wedding because Jimmy had to go back to school, we were able to enjoy the pre-wedding festivities. It was also perfectly timed because it took place during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Everywhere we walked, tourists and locals flooded the streets checking out street performers, heading to and from shows. There was music, comedy, plays, and everything in between. We saw a couple shows, but we were mostly there for family things which meant lots of food and tons of drink. We truly discovered our ambrosia  coffee with bailey's and whiskey. It kept us awake and chipper through the action-packed days. I discovered my love of haggis (served with tatties and neeps of course) and all things fried  especially fish and chips.

One of the days we rented a car and drove to St. Andrews, the place where golf was invented, and ate in the cafe where Prince William and Kate Middleton supposedly fell in love. We walked around the ruins of the cathedral and down to the water. When we stopped at the gift shop, Jimmy spotted a castle on a calendar and said we should go. The next day we got in the car and headed there. We did zero research, which in hindsight was not the best planning but it worked out for the best. We just put the castle in the GPS and went. Driving through the Scotland countryside was truly breathtaking. We had no idea how to get to the castle, we simply saw it from the road and found somewhere to park. Near the car park we saw a path, so we followed it. Saying this now, it was both so random and fortuitous. The path did eventually lead to the castle, with sprawling mountains on either side. I kept jokingly saying "I guess I'll take another beautiful, breathtaking photo of a mountain...if I have to.

This was really one of the most magical and wonderful places I've visited. Looking through these photos is making me nostalgic for the pubs, locals, views, and liveliness. I hope I'll be able to go back soon. In the meantime, my focuses are on my upcoming adventure! Where to next? My boyfriend and I will be driving down to Atlanta, GA next Saturday to take a couple much needed days of R&R. I can't wait to see the sights, drink beer, and eat way too much BBQ.
