I can't believe how behind I have gotten on blogging. These pictures are from the second and third day that Chloe and I spent in New Orleans. On Sunday we went down to Bourbon Street and spent the day wandering around and then watching the parade. Afterwards we danced to live music and enjoyed the late night magic of New Orleans. We were decked out with green St. Patrick's day garb. The following day Chloe and I strolled through the French Market, buying souvenirs and trying the local cuisine. We then went to the famous Cafe du Monde to get chicory coffee and piping hot beignets covered in powdered sugar. On Monday night we went on a ghost tour that took us winding through the streets of the French Quarter. It wasn't scary, but it was interesting and a great way to see the city. Afterwards we went back to Fred's for a feast of crawfish, mac and cheese and corn.
